If it already has some coring your good, just seal it well if the coring is wood. If not you could do something line running a piece a 3/4" coosa a little wider than the step holes, throw a layer or two of 1708 over that and cut your holes,

most likely its nylon or fiberglass. Not much wood in that boat. I have to look it over. I can have something cut in D shape out of stainless, polish it and finish the edges.

Thosefolding steps are nice.
aluminum. How are they holding up?. Do they stay folded up while under way and has anyone gotten scraped by them. They look good with minimal work installing them

Wow that sucker is big. Like 6 x 7. Does it really weigh 5 lbs. Aluminum seems it would be lighter. Edges would have to be chambered or raised. Can you post a pic of the jumbo folding step mounted on your boat please? Thank you
