Don't wanna hijack the OP but yeah, Ilmor 625's when we bought it from Lee @ Schiada although originally had some V12 things that from what I understand weren't really all that impressive in terms of performance, were heavy, and had some issues right before the Catalina Ski Race. Lee was scrambling for power and Ilmor air freighted a pair of 625s to him so they wouldn't miss the race.
We smoked the starboard engine last Sept and sent them to BoostPower for a rebuild and warm up (Thanks, Alexi) and are still putting some easy hours on the fresh motors.
There are only a pair of Schiada 43's; ours with Ilmor / Boostpower and a silver one with 700 Mercs.
cheers

Griff if you are going to post this at least get it right. He/Jeff was in prison for 2 years for it and you have forgotten to mention the other 16 people that he transported the boat to in New York. Some of whom are some pretty big names in this industry. He must not be that bad of a person since he now does all the factory hauling for DCB and Eliminator and we know those are not cheap boats. Not denying that Jeff did something wrong but he has been working his ass off to be a better person and do the right thing

A word of advise to anybody considering Jeff Murray- don’t leave the keys in the boat. Ship them separately.
