We've been to those races a couple times.
Been to all facets of boat racing and the Worlds in Key West is an event.
Its a circus.
When they close down Duval st and tow the boats in....... , over the top!
We hit the races while living in Fla but were by chance.
We're planning a trip down next yr and do it proper like.

Love this shot. Pelee Island, Canadian water of Lake Erie. 45* in April after a long ****ty winter and serious case of cabin fever. Fog was so bad you couldnt see bow of boat from cockpit but needed a fix. Blew a motor on way over and hit a shoal w/the one, still running motor. That island survives by its ferry service from Canadian mainland and it was down. We were the only people there! The one bar there......, was closed!
