Have you done anything of this scale previously and what model Magnum was it to start with? Is this a build to enjoy yourself or do you hope to sell the finished product?

Absolutely Gorgeous. Amazing job. I did something similar to a 33 Bertram flybridge. I removed the bridge and customized the interior and cockpit... Love the design.

it started as a 40 foot 1984 Magnum. It’s now 43 counting the transom. I have never done something on this scale before, but I converted an 1983 40 foot formula to outboards some years back, and have worked with fiberglass my whole life. I’m not sure if I want to sell it, more than anything I just wanted to build something in the US that gave homage to the category of boat that Magnum created back in the 80s and that so many European companies still build.

do you have any pics, your welcome to post them on the thread. Would love to see it. I really like the shape of the stern on those Bertams. I have a friend who has a hull that when I finish this one, I might tackle as another project. Either that or a 50ish Cary
