First computer in office had twin 50 meg hard drives – WOW!
We use to keep office printers in sound proof boxes – in separate rooms.
Use to bolt the IBM Selectric typewriters to the desks so thieves wouldn’t steal them.
Monochrome monitors.
Still think of the computer era as BM & AM (before mouse, after mouse)

you wanna talk old stuff
My first comptuer was a PET
what a toilet
Had an Apple 2c also that was sort of a wannabe laptop that had 128K of internal RAM
Dude a stick of GUM half chewed could hold more information than that.!!!
Natural progression of things
Hell Gates even said there would be no reason in the world to have anything faster than a 486
Yeah well why is it windows 2000 wont even fit on a CD now unless it is all CAB files? (try ghosting win 2k and see how big it is)
Hell Remember the phone modems that you actually took the recienver and put it on the modem rubber things ?
How about floppy disks and taking a hole puncher and snipping out the other side to make it double sided, double density and thinking the floppy disk police were coming to get you?
I remember doing backups on big 8 inch monster floppies off of my dads 1 meg hard drive that was as big as a common desktop is now?
Remember the WOPER from war games?
Ever try the trick of the soda can pull tab to the receiver to get a dial tone in that movie?
okay I could keep going on and on here but Ill stop
okay and remember I consider myself young, im 31

Friend of mine charged a dollar per disk to format them, he had kids parents giving him disks and money to get it done.
Not a bad enterprise for middle/high school kid
few hundred bucks per week.

Just like now you think that MS open license agreement is going to bite you in the ass too!

You have to call microsoft to get XP off of one machine and transferred to antoher.
Im going to have to try ghost with that and see if I cant get around this or not.
