Default List of raceboats which sank?

I thought we could have a thread here where we list offshore raceboat that went to the bottom of the sea. I know there are several boats that has been lost over the years but idk the names of any particular boat that sunk except from the Cougar cat with Steve Curtis which sank of the coast of France in the early 90`s. Do you guys know any raceboats which lies at the bottom of the sea? (No, i`m not interested in raising them from the sea or anything like that. Just curious)

The only boat I know for sure is still on the bottom is the 38 Larry Smith SCARAB IMPERIAL PALACE, which sits in 800 feet of water off the coast of Southern California it crashed in 1993 . The boat started life as Tom Gentry's American Eagle, then was sold to Vic Edelbrock Vic called it Edelbrock , then became Imperial Palace when it was lost. Regards Dan

The 44' MSV with , with Sonny Miller, Dominic Visconsi , burned to the waterline and sank in Atlantic City ( mid 70's). New boat with Turbocharged motors. Turbo issues may have caused fire.

Not a race boat but interesting non the less. I have the spot marked on my GPS. Would love to know the full story and how/why it sank.
Looks like a Formula.

We were involved in an accident during Point Pleasant Offshore Grand Prix. Boat sank, took 9 days to find her and bring her up. Still racing her.
