As suggested by FormulaVT, I called Scott at Velocity today. I'm glad I did. Sounds like they are willing to build to my preferences just like FormulaVT said.

Thinking outside the square, 'Top Banana' on here would probably be keen to build you a 28' Banana (Cigarette) if you're into old school stuff with newer technology. Just a thought.

Great! Velocity are great boats and fast. Which model are you thinking of? I am partial, of course to the VR1.

I'm leaning towards the 260 VR. It's just the right size for my older lift and I can easily handle by myself at the ramp.
After wrestling with my 382 for years, I'm ready for a smaller speeder.
