Jef de Jong over on FB Classic Offshore boat restoration found this little gem. 13' 1000 hp twin turbo 302 92 mph Yes it is a death trap but still a cool little hot rod.

Built Not Bought: 13ft 1000HP+ Twin Turbo Jet Boat EP:3

Only 92 MPH with 1,000 HP on a 13' boat?

Finally another small block Ford guy, turbo no less!!!

Yes the mph seems low for the hp. Personally I doubt it is making 1000hp, but he didn't say much about the engine except for 4 bolt mains. I'm not familiar with jet drives, but I don't think they are fast for the hp??

Description in the video has some specs, lucky if it’s making 700.
18-20k in the engine??? He got bent over hard. Scat crank and rods, Ross pistons, ford racing 302 block.

Pretty sure there wave runners going 86mph with around 200hp.

Maybe he has it “propped” wrong... if that’s a thing with jets idk.

I certainly wouldn't want to go 92 MPH in that thing, but gotta admit, the rooster is pretty cool. Craftsmanship looks pretty decent too.

I watched the video as it was posted on the Tube. Very cool little rocket to blast around in in relatively calm water. No 1000 hp there. As someone posted above probably 600 to 700 hp. I would love to blast around in it.

cool toy but about as practical as a wave runner but, considering he is only about 30" longer and packing a V-8 with snails - that will always draw attention

Re: "propped wrong" in a jet - impellers can be swapped out depending on the pump - same idea as aftermarket impellers and ring for a stock PWC (more volume/ rpm = more push)
