I never said I wouldn’t buy one, but they are def inferior to Outerlimits. Resale is awesome on them because they’re the Rolex/John Deere/Harley of boats, so people who don’t know any better will always pay top dollar for them.

Not saying they’re stupid, they just like Cigarette’s better because of the status the name carries. I’ve talked to a bunch of Cigarette owners who openly admit that Outerlimits are better boats in every aspect, but won’t buy one, and will only buy a Cigarette because it’s a Cigarette.

Pretty sure if you can afford a Cigarette you can afford an Outerlimits. And my family has a Cigarette and a Skater. So you could say we are pretty knowledgeable on powerboats. Outerlimits is a great boat. I looked into. Rode in. And I like it. The Cigarette has a better ride period for Lake Erie period. So please spare us with you F***ing disgusting over generalization of us Cigarette owner who are uniformed. Cigarettes have a brand name recognition for a reason. Not by accident.

thats a pretty stupid statement, while lots of cig owners are respectful of the looks of them thats where the comparison ends.

I’ve owned both also. The Cigarette has a softer ride. That is the single thing it has over an Outerlimits. Period.

Speed: OL
Cockpit size: OL
Cabin: OL
Ride: Cig

Nostalgia is the biggest reason Cigarettes sell so well.

well we all know about opinions, but im pretty sure as a company Cigarette is selling more boats than OL and it isnt because of nostalgia... Youve said some pretty stupid stuff on here but i think this takes the cake.
