Pleasure: Stand Up w/ Cabin

I guess a mass production company will have to pay a little more money to the r and d department. It also seems it takes a cat builder to build a v bottom that can play. I wonder if he has a tv monitor in their breakrooms HHMMMMM. Looks great , Craig
ps. What is the official length?

Basic and common sence thinking was the idea behind the Skater 399 5 step system --- when the same bottom technology works so well on their cats, that are now running 190mph plus --- then the same principal will work just as well on a Vee Bottom.

To clear up and put an end to the Skater/Baja affiliation --- basicly it just went dead when Baja had a number of top level managment changes. As a result of those changes Baja had no further interest in pursuing the project with Skater and dropped out it, leaving Skater to continue the development of the 399.

Great info, Awesome boat!!!
Thanks for the heads up skategear.
May I ask, if not too much trouble and you are able to divulge, what the respective responsibilities and contributions were of each organization while it was still a joint venture? What was the original premise in heading into this partnership?
Thanks in advance. This project had had a great many people very curious from the beginning...

Baja,
According to Peter at Skater Fest this spring, Baja basically backed out at the beginning and he continued it as a pet project. So for all intents and purposes, it is all Skater.
