Let me know when they compare it to a standard 4 or 5 blade performance. Then I’ll judge it. And oh yeah they are way more than even a herring 6 blade.

That's a lot of wasted Stainless "...custom made from a block casting or a solid piece of billet using CNC machines"

Its made from a proprietary blend of steel (unobtanium) so when you hit a shoal the prop will be fine, however the shaft will be a corkscrew

Innovation costs money that has to be recovered somehow, so early adopters pay a lot, but this idea has merit. It's in the test numbers by Boattest if you dig a little. I marked up this chart to focus on mph achieved at 4000 RPM where all three props are way beyond planing speed and mpg is almost identical. The Sharrow prop is moving the boat ~18% faster at the same RPM and the same fuel consumption. The only way this can happen is if the prop is better at turning fuel into thrust. You can consider the cost of the prop against potential fuel savings. Of course if I could increase my cruising speed by 18% without using more fuel I'd be going faster not saving fuel. The quicker we get there, the sooner the fun starts...

Other forums been talking about the prop a few months ago. We first watched it during a "boat test" vid. There was all kinds of comments about not comparing Apples to A

I sent an email to boat test asking about some of the things we noticed but as always, BT did not reply

Think it would be great to get a 17% increase in speed and still be able to reach the same WOT. Man that would be smoking some good sh$$ there
