Thanks Ed. my mother went thru a rough year with her health so it was not a surprise when she passed. after my wife passed from cancer I left boat racing and am up in the mountains living in the country. Dad is up in Knoxville and doing well. Boat world and racing is nothing like it was 30+ years ago. lot more fun back then.

I worked for Billy Don Pruetts son Craig and he had tons of pix of Jesse James along with other boats of that era. Really cool to see the progression of these machines over all the years

Don was a great guy, one year Tim Richmond was at our house and since he was sponsored by Folgers and TG Sheppard was involved with a boat with Folgers we convinced Tim it would be good to run in the "run what you brung" race in Sarasota. Don throttled and Tim drove one of the Chris Cats. they stuffed it twice as it was pretty rough that year. both times they stuffed it Tim got thrown to the floor, Don just sat there ready to go. when the got back in we were at the dock. Tim got out and the first words he said were "you f**k'n guys are nuts, I'm going back to nascar where its safe".
