The Loop is on my bucket list and I was checking out the Coastal Craft 42EF with quad 425's. 600 gallon fuel and a 60mph top end not bad for a long range cruiser.

I wonder how many people would get bored with this scenario and lose interest after a few years ? Or unknowingly asking for more than they can afford to spend keeping the boat up to the contracts requirements.

Thinking about staying true to the original post I would have a issue deciding.
First thoughts if I could afford the insurance would be a 40 Mystic cat with 450s or a DW 40 with 450's.
If a V, IDK, a 38ish from OL, DONZI ZR or Fountain. I would stay I/O with those but maybe a different engine package. Use the new LT4 650HP closed cooled motors with a dry sump 6 drive, that should last a while.
