Not sure what the government doesn’t understand about oil...the world is going electric and towards renewable energy.

why on earth doesn’t the US sell all the oil now while it’s worth something and invest in electricity and renewable energy. otherwise we continue to sit on it...until it’s worth nothing and sell it for pennies on the dollar. Business 101.

If the Middle East understand this concept...why don’t we. Major players in Dubai have been buying solar companies, tesla, and other energies knowing this is the future.

There are so many other items that crude is used for( plastics being the main one) that it will be a few life times before the world is Off crude.
There was little to no demand during the lockdowns and no fly is why fuel prices went so low. Now demand is going up fast as we get back to the New normal.
And as for Keystone- the XL was just a branch off of the main line correct?? I think it is still pumping that chit sand oil down to LA for export to China.

And I say use all the Arab oil we can and then when it gets stupid we still have North American oil and CNG.
Remember in the late 90's- the big scare- When the World Runs OUT of OIL lol
As for Green Energy- this winter just crushed that chit- CNG will be a big player for a long time for electrical energy production. And the US has a large chunk and little infrastructure to capture-(read MORE pipeline Jobs) we just flare it off at a lot of well heads.
Just my opinion sitting here in fukin Alaska/homa I hate Winter.

i guess it depends on what your definition of “off” crude oil means...Lets face it, transports is the biggest consumer.

I think within the next 15-20 years we will see major changes in these industries as trucks and cars are converted to cheaper options. Heck companies are working on commercial electric airplanes.

sure other industries use it...plastics etc. but even those industries are converting using new processes, recycled goods, etc.

fact is crude oil is pricing itself out of many industries and companies have been investing in alternatives for a while. Crude oil independence will be here before you know it.

which is the reason we should sell it now and start investing in the future.

We have an electric school bus. This technology is a LONG way from being dependable and reasonable. Range is only 70-100 miles depending on weather and load. Cost is 4 times that of a diesel powered unit.

How many times being lied to does it take ?

let me splain this entire situation another way;

----your hard earned money is the hi end painted and gel coated surface on your pride and joy boat.

----what always happens when a democrat is in office is a scratch right to the resin.

How many scratches do you want?

I mean one scratch and your like FACH-A-ME-RUNNIN right ?

Don't you from that first scratch throw the bumpers out, or do you think nah it won't scratch me again it's only looking out for and doing what's best as a whole!

Oh , I got even better stats on using water shipments. It will make your head explode !
