Default Miami Launch w/ Safe Truck & Trailer Parking

My buddy and I are wanting to trailer our cabin cruisers to Miami for a week or so, but we are worried about a good safe place to launch and keep our trucks/ trailers at. Any suggestions?

I tried the other day to leave my truck overnight at Haulover and 79St ramp and now there is no overnight parking thanks to COVID.

Try Matheson Hammock Marina, I called last month and they stored trailers, but getting a dock was another story. Because Dinner Key Marina was under construction, I couldn't find a dock in the entire Miami area in the beginning of January.

I would say 79th st is about as far from a safe place to leave your truck or trailer in as it gets

haulover is definitely a zoo...

i stored my truck and trailer there while i bounced around the bahamas before comin back for the races in key west a few years ago...

people at the marina were super cool and easy to work with....

but it is definitely not "safe" to park out front... truck was all the way up front next to the haulover f650.... (where they told me to park)

when i returned truck was perfect except a spot on the door handle some dumb dick tried to melt it or something... no big deal, but i was surprised to say the least.

i wouldnt park overnight there again.

edit - was also during a "king tide" the day i launched and at 8 am when i got there the ramp was pretty much already underwater.... then the bromangs with 24s on cars pullin jetskis showed up plowing through the salt water...

i just waited for the tide to go down and crossed over to bimini around 430pm...

pic attached.
