Default Boat Carpet Embroidery

Hello everyone. I bought a new cockpit carpet for my 2006 Donzi 38ZR and for anyone familiar with that carpet it has a semi hard, marine plastic backing. Last year, I sent my original carpet to a carpet works company in GA and they stitched in DONZI and it looked great. When I got my new carpet I asked them to put the logo in on the new one and they said they couldn't due to the first one breaking too many needles which totally road blocked my plan. Does anyone know any carpet embroidery shops that could do that? The Donzi logo was about 4' wide and about 8" tall. Any info would be great and appreciated.

I would think one of the companies that does custom floor mats for stores would be my first go too.

I don’t think that’s how carpet embroidery works…

don’t companies generally cut templates from different carpets and do inlays.. they aren’t embroidering or stitching.

Thanks. I have heard that but again don’t know who does that. The company I mentioned in my first message actually stitched it in but complained of breaking all their needles.

Does anyone know of any companies that do inlays?

I had this done earlier this year at “Snap in Carpet”. Call them and see what options they can do. John is owner and will give you straight answers. Good luck.

Yes, this... my buddy had some new cockpit carpet made with the OL logo inlayed unto it. Not cheap, but turned out very nice. I'll ask him who he used.
