Default 525 maintenance

Does anybody have a link or a copy of Mercs maintenance recommendations for the 2005 525 ? I know you’re supposed to do the upper ends at about 250 hours and I’m not disputing that, I just want to see mercs recommendations in writing, thanks

I didn't see anything in writing from Merc but had mine done at about 300hrs. Read it on the internet so it must be true.

Mercury will never put anything in writing pertaining to their weak valve train components in the 525.........lifters, springs and rockers........just like not admitting to the vapor lock issues on the 502 mpi, but they have a kit to fix it......

Eddie Young put it in writing on this forum many times - that should be good enough "in writing" for anybody.

Your best bet would be to buy the Mercury Service manual for the 525EFI.
I highly doubt you will find any official Merc service recommendations based on # of hours for anything internal on a 525EFI.
