Does anybody have a link or a copy of Mercs maintenance recommendations for the 2005 525 ? I know you’re supposed to do the upper ends at about 250 hours and I’m not disputing that, I just want to see mercs recommendations in writing, thanks

Mercury will never put anything in writing pertaining to their weak valve train components in the 525.........lifters, springs and rockers........just like not admitting to the vapor lock issues on the 502 mpi, but they have a kit to fix it......

Your best bet would be to buy the Mercury Service manual for the 525EFI.
I highly doubt you will find any official Merc service recommendations based on # of hours for anything internal on a 525EFI.
