Yeah maybe a little more than 5. Was it in 08 or 09 I was a little over 4? It does suck right now as I don’t even drive much but when I fill the plow truck it’s well over 100 and to just fill my Traverse it’s like 70.

June/July of 08 National average for reg was just over $4 a gallon, right before the crash. Diesel around us was running right at $5 then, and my wife's AMG SLK took 93 that was also at that price. It was crazy then to, remember going to work for about 6 hours one day and coming back, went up 0.6 in that time!

Cops righting tickets will make them slow down! Cops don't want to bother with this crap anymore. I haven't seen one anywhere here on the highways since the scamdemic began.....maybe even before that when Burn Loot Murder was going crazy! The Semi's are freakin doing 70-75 around here on the highways! For me to keep up with traffic in the fast lane its a min 80mph! 
Not that i'm complaining cause i love speed and have a lead foot most times LOL I think in the last month I've hit the speed limiter on my Avalanche 3-4 times getting to work

I’m not one to comment but the electric car comment was thrown out there yesterday. That answer is not going to happen tomorrow…. I have 3 paid for vehicles, yes I would love to go buy an expensive electric car so I can avoid $5 per gallon of gas, increase my electric bill significantly to charge it, and plan my trips and time around charging stations. Then when it gets some miles on it, maintenance cost will be high and I will not be able to work on it. Local garages won’t be able to work on it either. The trucks that haul our supplies and food 500+ miles a day going to be electric also?
I’m not against electric cars. I try to be open minded. The idea will work well in some areas and for some people. Not so good where I live.

Keys to sustainable usage of electric vehicle adoption:
1. Wide-scale/massive scale adoption of nuclear power.
2. Massive upgrades to the transmission infrastructure.
3. A real, workable solution for recycling batteries to keep from depleting resources and reduce hazardous waste.
Even with the above, fossil fuels will be required for the long term. The upgrades needed will take years upon years to build into what's needed for mass-scale adoption. This is a conversation for 50-75 years from now. We are not ready now and will not be ready in our lifetimes. These idiots thinking otherwise need to get their heads out of their collective asses. And I'm a fan of electric vehicles.
People are suffering, right now, for an agenda that is a complete political sham and for things that are just not possible.

Democrats have and always will be a bunch of pu$$ies.
Just go outside, they`re the one scared of the sniffle virus, still wearing useless masks when they don`t have to , still driving around or walking outside with masks on... mostly paper pushers, no democrats do things like military, police , fireman, logger, any manual work unless they`ve been brainwashed by some union organizer , they drive lame a$$ cars like toyotas and minivans.
Only thing they`re good at is ruining everything for the hard working , tough people of the USA.
Spend their time trying to come up with new things that offend them, telling everyone there`s more than 2 sexes, they burn and destroy cities, cause most of the crime, live off the rest of us hard working americans and now because of them this entire country is going down the $hitter.
