No I don't think it is called that. I don't know if it has a name.
You can't miss it though... it has a combination of checkered flag and flames for a paint job.

depending where and when you go permits are easy to get if your just going around town not a problem on freeways and major city pull permit daylight only not suppose to on sundays but we always do any questions pm me and ill try to help tom

Permits are easy and economical. Regulations vary from state to state such as hours of operation and holiday restrictions. Some states ban night travel or travel on Sunday, but some states allow 24/7 operation except through large cities during rush hour traffic.
I purchase an Annual Permit for the state of CA. $90.00, a citation for not having such will undoubtedly cost way more than $90.00
You might be advised to get a CDL (Commercial Drivers license) as the GVW of the boat trailer will exceed 15K lbs and this seems to be the cutoff that he DOT men want a CDL and physical card from the driver.
Also, check the overall length of the rig, as there is a legal length limit as well.
State to state permits can cost like $15.00 for the times you will travel through the state, so for the aggravation and hassle its worth the $$ to have the permit. You can call ahead and pick them up at the Port of Entry (which is the first scale you will enter for the state).

Every State was a wide load permit...
If your just trailering at your home state you can get a yearly permit in most states. But times due vary on use.
Like tomcat said, but being an non CDL most cops and Dot will let you slide if pulled over.
Get some wideload placards (and a yellow bincking light) for the reg of your state. Most likley you will not need a CDL because your are hualing under 26,001 pounds. But if the truck has airbrakes you will need an endorsment for that,simple test at MVR.
If you need any other info PM me. I drove Big Truck's for 20Yrs.
