Its pretty cheesy. Too bad they couldn't get the street circuit near the water and all the things Miami is about.

Is there really a hole? The photo looks like elevated walkways. Maybe they just paint the ground blue and put enough water in to cover up the trailers..

I hate to be a grammar Nazi but "wonton waist" ? I was thinking this was a F-1 race sideshow discussion and you turned it into Chinese food making a person fat.

Good way to highlight conspicuous consumption in the face of those struggling with everyday expenses.

The race is in MIami Gardens, one of the biggest ghetto areas in Dade county. So for those that have been to South Beach, its 15-20 miles NW.

This is more typical in Miami Gardens:

Looks like fun, you never did burn-outs with your buddies when you were young? Not big on the cars, I'm more of a '67 Chevelle SS 396 with a little jack in the back type than those things but I think the craftsmanship is great on some of those. You don't have to be a fan to appreciate the work.

Agreed, I'd never own a donk, but some of them really are very well done and have a lot of time and money invested. I have more respect for those than your typical ricer with a fart pipe.

Yep, that's kind of my point. If it were in South Beach, that's the norm, just sort of comes with the territory. Miami Gardens, not so much.

I'll agree some of the DONKs do have some nice work on them, and way better then the little rim pull the tires out to the side look.

I would do some airbrushing on one no worries.
