OT - "My computer had this" e-mail message
Anyone else getting these messages saying that your computer has a file that you should look up and delete? Seems to me that this thing has gone around before, and that your computer NEEDS the file you're asked to get rid of....

HOAXES
These are cruel hoaxes that someone designed to see if they can trick you into wrecking your own computer.
I recall one email told me to remove my "java debugger manager" (JDBGMGR.exe) which is built into most computers so that java script runs better.
The other email told me to remove the file (SULFNBK.exe) that backs up and restores long file namse -- so that your file names don't appear cut off -- like this: OffshoreOn~
From now on -- if ANYONE sends me an e-mail telling me to deleted something from my harddrive, or telling me how I can get free tennis shoes, or help a sick child by sending mass-emails, or warning me about thieves who can knock me out with phony perfume, etc.....
....... I always visit www.snopes.com - first.
