This really is an addicting thread. Boats in the 90s were just better. More enthusiasm or something.

I love how in the show everyone wears sport jackets,,,, in Miami,,,,,,,,,, and don't sweat!

As for the 25 Talon I have a couple friends with them. One single I/O the other twin OB's. Good running boats.

Cool Repurposed Talon

A few years ago the Richardson’s out of Lake Havasu restored a 377; from engines to interior and rigging including applying an awesome high tech wrap. Big Power #6 whip.

Before and after pics

Current Wrap technology has greatly improved recently. A cost effective alternative to paint.

Smile Father Son Talon Race Team

Nicely produced clipit of Ed Smith and son Shawn Smith starting their racing relationship in the Talon 37. Sharing the thrills of racing between father and son must be the ultimate high but knowing the risks weights heavy on Dad. A number of race families have participated in the sport. Mark and Chris Lavin (Brothers-Jesse James) Kurt and Allen Dunteman(Father Son-Agitator), Chuck, Toni and Jason Neu(Dad,Mom,Son-Insanity), and Bill and Warren Gzell (Brothers) and many others. All have something in common-Past Championships

Kilo runs and race setup are two different things.

A 368 with 525s back when Suigeneris was running would be well off the pace and not competitive.
