I do not remember the Duntemans' Racing a Talon; the 32 ft Skater that they raced was a great set-up at that time of racing and was legend. Do you have a picture of them racing the Talon,? Was it a Modified class boat?

Thank you, my mistake...This is a very interesting thread.

I do recall ProRoc had/has a very good working relationship with Hustler boats, is that an accurate assumption?

The shop is now Pro Technologies. I believe Rolf still handles Hustler. I know he was involved with a big power rockit that ran 130mph about 8 or 9 years ago. I don’t know if he sold any 377 Talons.

Cool Talon 377 Formula X

Video below is a Special Edition Talon 377 X built and shipped to Europe, I believe originally possibly Finland and now for sale on the eastern coast of Italy. A race deck opened up and used as a pleasure. A nice video showing family fun time.

I sold this boat to Russia, some years later we brought it with basically no hours to Italy.

Thumbs up Talon 377X in Italy

Gorgeous boat and I believe a 1 off enclosed canopy built by the Hustler Team in Long Island NY.

Thumbs up Special Edition Keith Eickert 377

Even tho this talon Special Edition is 20 years old, the Lines are timeless IMO. Cool part about the SE is no rubrail.

Cool Michael Peters Influenced???

THE most influential mind in performance hull design is reserved solely to Michael Peters. I included this post because the 377 Talon takes cues from the 35 Maelstrom.

Peters designed a 19 foot Maelstrom which was his first stepped hull and I assume he was involved with the record breaking 35 Maelstrom Cat also. Crazy deal is he got the idea of a stepped hull by noticing how stable a sea plane pontoons were, which had a step.

Great article about Peters

Heres an old thread on him.
