Maybe its just me but I always look at these paint jobs and try to figure out the steps they take to minimize the back masking. Its got to be hours and hours of mask, spray for 30 mins and mask again.

Aren't they cutting out vinyl templates to mask with nowadays?

It's cool to see one of DCB's customers finally thinking outside the box and doing a custom paint job (I don't think it's happened since "Lickity Split" RIP and "Spooled Up"). DCB does a phenomenal job with their gel-coating, but it's impossible to get the same fades/metallics/pearls as paint. I think this is the first M37 to get painted, and it's going to look great!

can they repair the Gelcoat graphics? And not be easily noticed? I know 99% of Gelcoat repairs are easily seen when up close.

That's funny. When my AT was getting painted, my painter said that he was a taper that happened to also paint. He'd spend days laying vinyl down and picking tape to spray for 5-20 mins.
