Default Re-Programming MEFI 3

Looking for someone to re-program my ECM.
I’m located in Illinois about an hour south of Chicago with an 2001 Donzi ZXO with twin 350 mag mpi’s. The motors have prochargers with 5lbs of boost, aluminum AFR heads and mid cams. The current programs are real fat on fuel. The Ecms are MEFI 3 (E-930) Delphi 16236999. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Tim

Pretty sure they are not, because I was able to down load them on my computer with the MEFI burn software. Just don’t understand how to use the software.

The only way to get them accurately programmed is to do it with the boat in the water or on a dyno.

Eddie did mine 5 years ago. Top Notch, Awesome Experience. Dyno'd Tuned and I dropped them in the boat. They were perfect. Worth the trip to Tennessee, plus I had a few nights to play in Nashville.....lol

Your engines need tuned IN the boat. Pretty sure Bill at Ateco is closest mefi tuner to you (if he still does this). I do it here in michigan but would be quite a jaunt for you.
To do it properly, you need:
1. o2 bungs mounted in exhaust
2. fuel pressure gauges at helm
3. Fresh plugs, wires, fuel pressure regulators that are EVEN at each engine , basically dont take your boat to a tuner until you 100% have taken care of every small issue. since you own mefi burn, use mefi scan and make sure all your data looks correct on every sensor. I have had quite a few people haul their boats here to meet on water to tune and it turned into fix problems at dock that should have been previously addressed that just burned time.
4. Since you'll be tuning off tail pipe averages, pay someone that has a high quality injector machine to flow , clean, verify injectors are good. Tailpipe averages can send you down a rabbit hole of making a ashtray out of a piston as they can mask a lean cylinder.. Dont assume because it idles "ok" or they were recently new that they are"matched", cant stress this enough . (I do offer injector service btw)
5. Have you looked at you ECT data on your mefi? Procharger USED to supply ect signal conditioners to trick ecm into thinking motor was cold and drives it down into the ect table as a bandaid vs real tuning. Have engines and harnesses been converted to two bar map sensors and boost tables on your mefi populated for timing vs map, fuel vs map??\
6. Has "two bar" map sensor been turned ON in the tune??
7.. Ecms need to be unlocked otherwise whoever you pay to tune it will have to blank them out and start over.
8.. Did you actually download the bin file or you were simply able to view the live data with mefi scan?
Hope this helps, Smitty
