Default Fun per dollar!

Been wanting to do this forever and stumbled on this a few miles from my house and been watching it for several years when I saw the homeowners outside and stopped to ask if they would sell it.

13 1/2 foot 1967 aluminum boat.

Hull weight is 160 pounds :-)

Being an x kneel down outboard hydroplane racer I’ve always been a huge fan of the tin boats for their lightweight and how well they do with a small motor.

Had one before but didn’t like the lines of it and sold but really liked the lines of this one.

Just picked up the motor for it this weekend.

50 horse JohnRude with trim and tilt.

Had an identical motor on a 13 foot whaler in Florida and it ran just a tick under 50!

Should be an absolute hoot!

This motor is way heavier than what was intended for this hull so I will start by mocking it up and doing a test float to move weight around to see where it needs to be to get it to make sense.

Can’t see it in the pixs but does have a rear bench seat.

Probably run it this fall then strip it and make it pretty over the winter.

Figure I will have it running mid 50s for $1500, and pretty for $2500.
