Check out Plantation Boat Mart's three new Deep Impact center consoles—the company's first four-engine 369 Sport and two 399 Sport models powered by quad 450-hp outboard engines.

Impressive photography as usual, but it would take serious image editing to make me fall in love with the Deep Impact hull designs. The busy, sloping, gunwale and hull-side towards the stern doesn't do it for me. It's difficult to hide the bulk of a CC with more than a 10-foot beam, but Deep Impact is not even close to succeeding in its efforts. Personally, I like CC boats that strive to look like sleek high-performance offshore racing boats, despite having a wide beam. Deep Impact got a sportfisher look and that might work for the crowd of the Carolinas, but here on the 'Left Coast' we like it looking sportier than that and it seems to work well in Florida too for some.
