That is apples and oranges from a customer that Manning was marketing to. A Manning customer will now go to Myco, CTS, and/or Evolution for a custom trailer.

What if manning trailers was under new ownership and under a new name? Do you think some of those customers would come back?

Proof would be in the pudding. I bet the brand/business could come back but how damaged is it now and how much work would it take to fix that damage? 5yrs +/-?

Best of luck to them.

Buy an Evolution! Best built and absolutely the best customer service ever! I have had Manning and Myco but nothing compares to Evolution customer service and quality.

I know 35-40 thousand sounds like a lot of money for just a trailer but when you do the materials in todays money than add building rent and labor ,Insurance a 10-20% profit margin isn’t cutting it for a one time custom item.

Building out of steel isn’t much cheaper than aluminum with todays steel and paint prices, and the cost to prep and paint over non painted aluminum

As many people have already pointed out in this thread, they didn’t return emails before shutting down either.

I tried to get them to build a trailer for a 28 Skater. I gave up and ordered one from Finland instead. (Still waiting for that one, though)
