Livorsi Vantage oil temp and oil level not working
Hi!
I have a 450R and use Livorsi Vantage View gauges plus a MercMonitor. The instruments are 12 years old, and worked all fine with my 400R. When I replaced the 400R with my 450R, I lost Oil Temp, Oil Level and Oil Pressure. This spring I bought a new master tach, and when I calibrated it for SmartCraft, the Oil Pressure gauge is working - but still nothing from my Oil Temp and Oil Level instruments. Both svipes from zero to full when I put the ignition on.
What do you think is wrong?
All the best, Toffen, Norway

On the Merc monitor;
-go to the main page
-settings
-left side, scroll down to Mercury
-engine
-make sure Mercury racing 450R is selected
-supported data, make sure all engine data you want is selected.
If you don’t select certain data to display on the screen settings it won’t display on the Livorsi vantage view gauges. The Livorsi system just piggy backs offwhat the Merc system displays on the NMEA network.
Sorry, I looked closer to your picture and it doesn’t look to have a vessel view type screen. I’m not sure how to access the settings I said through that mercy monitor gauge.

Hi!
Thanks
I have checked Livorsi "PARMS" and it's the latest software in the tach. When I look at the setup, I see the tach shows "4 stroke outboard" - not Verado. When I look at the functions available for "4 stroke outboard" it's equivalent to the instruments working. "4 stroke outboard" does not include oil temp - "4 stroke Verado" does.
I will see if I can chance the setting at the Marc Monitor to 450R.
Cheers Toffen
