If unrealized capital gains don't scare the *crap* out of every homeowner and 401K/IRA holder out there, I don't know what would. In an overinflated market and housing market you could easily be taxed out of your savings and home.

It doesn't scare them because they are under some delusional mind control brain washing that everyone should be equal.....what ever that means since they cant explain it. My sister in-law is CONSTANTLY talking about this....i the ask her then when is she burning all her cloths and only wearing a white oneze and getting her gov supplied 6x10 apartment with a communal bathroom and daily deliveries of what ever gruel the gov supplies for food.....that way everyone is equal right?
The funniest part is when her parents are around and listen to her drivel....they fled from Poland back in 1983 i think...not sure the exact time frame but somewhere around there. They lived in what they called "The Blocks" It was the Polish version of what we had here in Chicago called Cabrini-Green. If you are not familiar with it, google it. It was gov. housing projects back in the communist days. Her parents tell stories on how they were afraid to talk bad out loud for fear of the rooms being bugged. The neighbors would tattle on each other for someone having something more or better then the others. You had to wait in line at the store just to see what came in that day....there was no choice for food you get what happens to arrive that day. And if nothing comes....oh well...your problem not theirs. Her dad was a cop for a few years...until they jailed him for a few months...to this day he doesn't know what it was for! At the time he didn't know how long he would be in jail or anything. As they were leaving the country under the guise of going on vacation...the border patrol went though EVERY knook and cranny of the car and the camper trailer and took what THEY deemed not necessary. "oh your going camping for only a week...then the camper doesn't need a stove...you can each sandwiches"

Socialism IS COMMUNISM make no mistake about it. If you want to expand social programs like healthcare for all then do it like Sweden does it and raise the tax rate to pay for it....but Americans wont go for that as they feel we are being taxed too much as it is. If you look at Sweeded they tax at over 50% for those making $62k /yr or more. Their sales tax rate is 25% and their payrol tax rate is around 31%
Im sure Loony Jay would be the first one in line to volunteer the Gov taking his money to pay for everyone else right Jay? Oh wait why am i even asking him since i have blocked him!

My grandson started kindergarten this year. Mom got a list of supplies she needed to purchase for him with specific quantities and brands. She wanted to start him off right and purchased everything as requested. Mom went with him to school with the supplies expecting to find a locker or something to keep his supplies in. Nope. Here is a big tub that everyone dumps their stuff in. Nobody knows if you bought supplies, how much or what, but everyone takes whatever they want out of it. Starting that mentality early.
