You are welcome to make fun of Europeans, and praise Trump who is very good friends with Putin, and has great respect for Russia.
Trump is not on good terms with western leaders, since they do not respect him and Trump has no interest in Europe, since their leaders do not respect him. They laugh of him.
But I agree that Europe should be more self sufficient when it comes to the military, and Europe should stop buying weapon systems from the USA, and need to focus on European military technology, and not count on the USA if Trump is elected.

Get your fuel from Russia and your weapons from China. That should be the ticket. Seriously though, just looking from the outside in, you guys over there don’t seem so keen on military spending. But I could be wrong, just a casual observation on my part. Could it be the downside of growing up under Uncle Sam’s wing? I’d be nervous too.

Foreign affairs is Trumps weakness, all western leaders knows this, and that is why they are laughing behind his back, but that is not going to help Ukraine that Trump without consulting the allies makes his own decisions. This can have huge implications going forward.
Trump had to shame them into paying their agreed % of NATO funding.
