In Harris's case, she did not grab hold of really anything and do anything about anything (the "word salad" is intentional, btw). Great employees rise, and she did not do crap. The illegal migrant problem was one of the initiatives given to her. What kind of grade would you give her on it?

Lets start with one very simple question for you. She states that she is going to lower food prices. Can you, or any Harris supporter tell me how she is going to do it? I honestly cannot find any details at all, just that she is going to lower them.

Hate to kick your dog but your guy Piven thinks your nutty FRANCES FOX PIVEN: Well, that’s nutty. It really is. I regard Barack Obama as a centrist, a person who has been trying very hard to find common ground between the right and the Democratic Party. In many ways, I think that he has disappointed his own followers in that process. This is — it’s bizarre. It’s as bizarre as Glenn Beck saying that the contemporary left owes its — that one of its ancestors is Woodrow Wilson, another — an important president of the United States and one who was a very mild reformer.

I think it’s also crazy to call me a commie, a socialist, a revolutionary or whatever. I think I’m a democrat. I think that all of my work has been devoted to remedying the flaws, the distortions in American democracy. If you go back to the first project that I worked on politically, which is what the — it’s where the article comes from about the — which they call a conspiracy to crash America. That article didn’t call for crashing anything, except the existing welfare system. It proposed that people on the left help poor people in the cities get their full benefits from welfare. Now, at the time, welfare was denying benefits to over half of the people that were eligible. It’s doing that again now. But the article helped inspire — it helped inspire an effort by poor people, many of them people of color, in the cities to get the benefits that they were entitled to from welfare. Now, you can disagree with that effort, but it’s not crashing the system.

Thanks, Dave

Brad,
If you cannot see the difference of floating a boat with a trump flag vs being homeless in a tent. I got nothing for you except smacking myself in the head.

Thanks, Dave

But those who are in the U.S. illegally are not eligible for such benefits, with rare exceptions, immigration experts said. Certain groups, such as refugees and people granted asylum, do receive cash assistance from the federal government, though at much lower levels than those being claimed online.

What happens if you give false information on a mortgage application?
They provide penalties for anyone who deliberately provide false representation connected to any part of a real estate transaction. Anyone convicted of mortgage fraud will face harsh penalties, including jail time, fines, and restitution.

Harris’ grocery pricing proposal would instruct the Federal Trade Commission to penalize “big corporations” that engage in price spikes and it singles out a lack of competition in the meat-packing industry for driving up meat prices.

Just. Stop.

Thanks. Brad.
Brad,Donald Trump obtained hundreds of millions of dollars in loans using financial statements that a court has since deemed fraudulent, a retired bank official testified Wednesday at the former president’s New York civil fraud trial.

Trump’s “statements of financial condition” were key to his approval for a $125 million loan in 2011 for his golf resort in Doral, Florida, and a $107 million loan in 2012 for his Chicago hotel and condo skyscraper, former Deutsche Bank risk management officer Nicholas Haigh testified.

But although the bank didn’t conduct its own full appraisals of Trump’s properties, it sometimes gave sizable “haircuts” to the values he’d placed on such holdings as Trump Tower and his golf courses, Haigh said.

Thanks. Dave

It will be fun to see Pennsylvania support Trump this time around as Harris is against fracking and clean coal technology.

I will ask you also, what are the details on how she is planning on tackling the economy/inflation, and national security/illegal immigrants? I just cannot seem to find any liberals that can answer those is any detail.

In an Opportunity Economy, more Americans can experience the pride of homeownership. Vice President Harris and Governor Walz have a plan to end the housing shortage and lower prices, partnering with the private sector to build 3 million additional homes. As these new homes are built, the Harris-Walz Administration will also give a historic $25,000 in down-payment assistance to help more Americans buy their first home and provide shelter, opportunity, and security for their loved ones. Vice President Harris and Governor Walz know that small businesses—neighborhood shops, high-tech startups, small manufacturers, and more—are the engines of our economy. As part of their agenda, they have put forward a plan to help small businesses and entrepreneurs innovate and grow, which the Vice President aims to have spur the creation of 25 million new business applications. Their plan includes expanding the start-up expense tax deduction for new businesses tenfold and taking on the everyday obstacles and red tape that make it harder to grow a small business.

Well.... Let's see.... One administration is driving for policy that is more likely to make one able to afford a boat, and one is driving for policy that is more likely to make one able to afford a tent. Choose wisely.

NOT a lie. Denial is not a river if Egypt. And the Harris campaign is proudly advocating for MORE. They are literally engaging in overt vote buying. But they are promising to use taxpayer plundered funds to do is, so all good, right...?

Price controls have only resulted in shortages. FACT.

Yup. That bank representative testified that those loans were granted based on historical record of multiple loans that Trump had paid back, in full and on time, and based on their own assessment of the values of the collateral.

Ummm... Alleged... With zero evidence to back it up. And also the "victims" were adults. Consenting adults, at the time, I might add. Walz was "coaching" kids.

I'm all for cutting the red tape for small businesses (zero corporate tax would go a LOG way), but I'm not holding my breath. But, otherwise, who pays for this?

Thanks. Brad.
