I live in MD as well and have my whole life, that simply isn't true. if you try to show an ID they will tell you to put it away.
As for your Soros analogies, While being Jewish as a young teen he was part of the Hitler youth and one of the higher ups in the Nazi party took him under his wing and Soros was responsible for collecting valuables ( rings, gold teeth etc) from people before going to the gas chamber. He described it as the best job he ever had. He has also made his billions not by regular investing, but by profiting off of shorts and downfalls of currency, no different than he is trying to do here in the US by forcing the system to be overwhelmed. He really is the closest thing to an "evil villain" in the world. He is a blight on humanity.

Maryland Voter Registration ID Requirements

To register to vote:

• You must provide your driver’s license number or state ID card number if you have one.

• If you do not have a Social Security number, then leave that space blank on your registration form.
