Jayboat, please explain to me and others what exactly is an “assault rifle”? I respect that you have an opinion and thank god you live in this great country that allows you to express those opinions but what exactly is an assault rifle? Me personally have never experienced a rifle assaulting anyone without some idiot pointing it and pulling the trigger to make it expell a bullet.

well since of the Presidents that were assassinated and even attempts most were with pistols and JFK was with a bolt action rifle, none of which are "assault" rifles that the left likes to villainize. so it must not be the weapon that is the problem. the problem is people themselves. I grew up with rifles hanging in the back window of unlocked trucks in the school parking lot and yet no one got shot. when the left stops talking about "gun violence' and starts talking about people acting violent then maybe a solution can be found.
