I hope he was cloned before the aliens took him over. The board just wouldn't be the same without.

This guy lives about 10 miles from me. I read the article also and plan on a trip there. Dual Over Head Cams and very reliable up to 2000hp. No belts except the blower and cam drives. I think this is the future. $70,000 is not too bad for 2000hp and he even said the Merc stuff is way overpriced for something that could be built at home. If I can take pic I will post them. 5" bore spacing Up to 800ci but these are 540/575. The drag motor had 6000hp. That is turbine worthy.

Default I saw that motor in Key West!

For those of you who were in Key West, this motor was there, in the back of a minivan, on a sliding track. The thing took up nearly the entire cargo area. Pretty wild looking machine.

Thumbs up I touched that engine pictured in the article---wooohoo!

I visited Tim Grose's shop in Fennville, MI on Teusday (1/28). I only live about 25 miles away. Very nice guy to speak too. He already has a lot of interest in the engines. Turns out he grew up in St. Joesph, Michigan which is where I did and we both graduated from the same high school---I graduated 8 years later though. St. Joseph is a very small city of only about 15 thousand, but it's right on Lake Michigan.
