Offshore Boat Book!???!?
While Christmas Shopping last night we were in the mall and happened into a book store, while there I saw all kinds of "Coffee table books" that were about Trains, Trucks, Harley's, Plains, Heavy Equipment, etc..
Why doesn't someone put out a book like that on Offshore Boats? I have most of all the books out there on our sport like Searace, Blue Thunder, and plenty of others. But that isn't the kind of book I'm talking about. I talking about a picture book. The ones at the store's don't have hardly any history or anything other than pictures!! I wouldn't think it would be very hard to put something like this out? (But hey, I'm just a undertaker from Kansas!)
I remember seeing a story about a guy that worked heavy construction and saw how much his kids loved to watch the Big Trucks work, so he put out a video of Big machines working and it was a hugh success!!!
If you get to detailed then the book is only for the diehards like us but if you could keep it simple then everyone that is buying for a kid that likes boat's they would grab one while they are at the mall.
Wasn't Stinson going to put together a bunch of Apache picture's?
What about TX2 and Darren they have all kinds of Picture's?
Or even All kinds of Powerboats, Big Boats (Sunseeker and bigger), little boats (mouse boats), all kinds of racing boats, Hydro's, Offshore, F1, outboard drag, small outboard racers, crackerbox, etc..
Does anyone have any experience in book publishing? Copyrights?
I'm just a undertaker like I said but this could be something for Offshore Only or a charity or a poker run club to do.
Or hey who wan't to partner up on one?

And i have since been looking for it and haven't been able to find it ..can't remember the damn name ...can't even remember which store!!
But I can swear they do have it ..the particular book I saw was about offshore powerboats (Apache, Cig's etc.).

I have a coffee table book called muscle boats. Despite the stupid name it has shots of cigarettes, Donzis, a 28' Riva, Tempest, Scarab Formula and some mixed shots. It's pretty good for winter entertainment, but it's old.
