I don't know how much a 24' Eliminator weighs, but my motor is all Aluminum with 1600 HP. I would guess the boat at 3000 to 3500 and it does accelerate like hell.

According to your numbers, power to weight is approximately 2lbs/hp.......Therefore, you are accelerating to somewhere around 210-225mph..........

Ya gotta love the horsepower claims some of these engine builders make!

Did that guy say 1600hp in a 24' something ? Hmmmm thats alot I think

Boss Hoss

I don't own one (wouldn't want to...), but the 502 Boss Hoss has 502 horsepower and only weighs 1300 pounds.

It's one hellofa bike!

Um or perhaps you should take 1000hp and divide by 2600 lbs to get 0.385 hp per pound

other wise I could take an 1800 lb VW and divide by 36hp to get 50 hp/pound ( or if done correctly hp divided by pounds 0.02 hp/lb)
