CNBC has been reporting live from the San Diego Boat Show all day. They have shown many fine boats and interviewed the editor of Power Boat Magazine.
Check it out, they should continue the rest of the day.

If all goes well (if loan comes thru next week) we will be starting a new marina (digging out lagoon) next month (open in October). Edgewater Florida..keep your fingers crossed.

They also interviewed the CEO of Marine Max this morning on Squak Box, Bill something. It was a great interview, didn't talk about performance boats, just Hatteras and Sea Ray. They did, however, talk about the direction the boat market was heading, and per their discussion it sounded encouraging. Actually, after listening to what the CEO said their stock didn't look all that bad to invest in.
I was going to post this earlier in the morning, but was too embarrassed to say I watched squak box everyday before heading to work.

Uncle Toys,
I've been watching it off and on all day and would make the trip if I were that close. The yachts would be worth the trip just to see what the big money is buying. If they have shown the high performance boats I have missed it but would assume they have a good assortment. It may not be a big as the Miami show but I'm sure its bigger than our Tulsa Boat Show.
