Everybody knows that the boat is junk.....
If anyone want a CA Opinion I can give it. I have seen the boat a few times. One night I took a good look at DSM. $15,000 is a great deal.

Re: My boat auction on Ebay closed!
When I was out there I took off both drives, checked the one tail shaft bearing on the Port side (it was perfect) and replaced the one on the starboard side. I then rebuild with all perfect used or new parts the ENTIRE steering system. While we were at it we replaced the bellows and the universals for the drives on both drives. We also did some electrical work at that time. The only true week link in the boat is the electrical system and it seems that Nick may have put some money into that as well so maybe it does not need much of anything. The trailer would need some work if you plan to do a lot of trailering any more then what he does as there are not breaks (easy fix). For what he is asking this boat is a KILLER deal. I know for a fact that every time Nick uses it it is properly cleaned and flushed before it is put away. Some handy man is going to get themselves a KILLER deal.

I am ABSOLUTELY NOT in cerberus' defense, but note he was regestered in October 2002. I wouldn't think that someone just reg. to mess w/ NICK. What a first post for a lurker.....I think that is what he/she should go back to being.

nick i will say if you have a legit offe rit might not hurt to taek it if you need the $$$> Before i began all the woprk on my boat i had it for ale i had a legit offer at $16,000 and I wanted $17,500 17 min. Well in hindsight it might not haev been a bad idae to go for it. Granted i loev my boat and its a fun project and goign tobe great when its done bBUT at teh time i coudl have use dthe $$$ and not sunk so much into it. WIth soem luck i''ll get back what i put into it but tah is only becasue I did all the update work myself.

If your not in a hurry for the cash, stick it out. Ive been lucky that way and actually got more than I expected on the last 2 boats I sold, just took time and sweat. If that boat were closer to me, I might have bought it already.
