Audacity, hello... glad you didn't take my post out of context.
and as far as Cig being the best, the extra 50K is what the custom, VERY custom detail costs... the detail in the Cigs are just way above and beyond, awesome, although I never open my engine hatch, WOT, point A to point B...... then lets have some fun...
Take care and best of luck to you.
QUESTION, so will the new VORTEC be your motors, from what I understand they will be the standard next year (this year), educate us.

More like 78.
power, ran 76 @ LOTO shootout this last
year, not an ideal condition for this boat.
Know of another 2001, same power with
boxes, ran 79 @ 2001 shootout, once again,
not ideal conditions for these boats.
I drove it, very nice ride, no bad handling
issues, fun in rough water, great looks.

The 33 Daytona will hit 82 GPS and thats if you have it trimmed full out, She runs real nice at 78. He probably is going by the speedo.
The 33ZX runs with same power around 78 GPS,
They are great boats if you want all the bells and whistles of a big cabin.
Best of luck

like jt said there was one in '01 at the shoot-out that ran 79mph on GPS. the one that ran last year was not a daytona, so you can't compare. the one that ran in '01 is painted and speced out the exact same way the one you are looking at is. i have been in that boat when the GPS said 86-87mph, but there is no way that was correct. everyone seems to be right on with the 82mph.
i saw that boat yesterday, and was wondering where it was located. like i said there was one on loto that i was very familar with that was indentical to that one. just out of curiousity do you know the seller's name? good luck, it is a great boat.
