IT HAS 4&ONE HALF INCH DRY CMI BIG TUBE HEADERS AND PIPES
IT ALSO HAS POWER ASSISTED HYDRYALIC MARINE MACHINE STEERING AND SITTING ON AN ALL ALUMINUM I BEAM TRAILOR WITH TORSION AXLES AND BRAKES,THE TRAILOR IS A 2001.THIS BOAT IS IMMACULATE INSIDE AND OUT.THE REASON FOR THINKING OF SELLING IS TO GO TO A 39FT VELOCITY.THE BOAT IS WHITE WITH PURPLE AND TEAL GRAPHICS AND ALL OF THE OPTIONS THAT WERE AVAILABLE AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE.

There is someone on this board that has a 26 w/2 V-8 Johnson's that runs over 100MPH, you know who you are!!!!
600 HP = 90MPH possible I guess. I'm no expert but velocity's seem to run fast. Good looking boats also.
How much? Can we see?

FOR YOU GUYS THAT THINK THAT 90 MPH IN A 280 OR A 260 VELOCITY WITH 600 HP OBVIOUSLY HAVE NEVER BEEN IN A VELOCITY,FOR A SPORT AND OR A PLEASURE BOAT IT IS KNOWN
FOR BEING A VERY FAST HULL WITH ITS PAD BOTTOM.BOBBY
POWELS 26 WITH THE V8 OUTBOARDS WILL RUN 100 MPH.

What prop(type, inches & labbed?) do you run and at what RPM? I think 600HP will get you over 80gps but less than 90gps. My speedo indicates 95mph when the gps says 85mph. Regardless of the exact number ... anything over 80mph in a 26' hull will be fast enough for MOST mortals.
Back to your original question ... My 280 is also for sale and was in the classifieds here until recently for $64,900 for a 2000 with a Whippled 502 without a trailer. I wil be putting it back in the classied section shortly for $60ish with a little haggle room if that helps you.
Good luck
