Hyper,
I didn't realize you were into RC? I would love to see that scarab run!!! I still have a gas powered stampede, helicopter and an electric boat. The boat is undergoing some treatment as we speak. My mom has a sign company, and she is putting vinyl decals on the boat the exact same as my little outlaw. It is even going to have the name across the back! Let me know when you will have the scarab at the pond!!

you bet aqua. The scarab is tons of fun... how good is your mom at doing graphics? need some for the all red scarab (pretty close to our baja)

I also have a 26" electric cat (twins and 12 cells!), a 28" air boat with a nitro motor on it (flipped it the only time its been out!!) then a 18" wood boat, glassing it over eventually, then the 46"x14 or 15, with a 30cc homelite for power. I was thinking about getting it on the water this weekend, but i would have to walk (marina is gated off) and then possibly see it is all ice, or have it stall when its out there. I cant wait for spring.

I think she is very good at graphics. She has done the names on boats, semi's etc. and stuff like that for years and years. I am not exactly sure how she would approach the whole red thing on the scarab. Is it already red and you just want some strips etc? Let me know. What she did w/ mine is took a picture of my boat, blew it up on the scanner, then layed it out on my little boat. She is then going to get the vinyl cut in the same format, then put on boat......viola......mini Aqua-Holic!! Pretty neat stuff. I used to have a gas powered boat, but the electronic's weren't sealed off very good, and I always had trouble w/ it. Sold it and bought the truck, then acquired the chopper, and now the little boat. I just thought the little boat would be fun to buzz around in the swim area, especially w/ the new graphics!

Chopper as in helicopter? that would be pretty cool!! As for the mini aqua holic, you will get lots of looks and questions about that! Our Scarab is already red, almost an exact match to our baja. swim areas are fun, open water is more fun. With the scarab, it has the turning of a bus so I dont run it much on the weekends. it is to big, fast and bad at turning I wont drop it in the water at the marina. Next year sometime Im going to run it next to the big boat and see how quick its goin
