Hey man it is like the French. They have only won a single war in thier history, including two losses against the Italians (the only country to loose two wars against Itally) but they keep sticking their noses up at the people that saved their asses more then once. How quick they forget. I think Nort is the same Forgets quick

Had to vote for Havasu as I have been there, it's closer, only a short 1400mile trip.
Will get to LOTO one of these years though

only 1400
2200 each way for me to Havasu
Made the trip at least a dozen times
5 with current boat. Actually towed my boat home from there
been 2 years since I been back
need to go again.
However, LOTO is only a little over 600 each way New found haven
If you want cold waters, tall canyon walls, desert scene with no grass, and flatter waters go to Havasu. Just make sure you pack a lunch because it has very few resturaunts accesible by water compared to LOTO>
Now if you want BIG water, over 90 miles of boatable lake, many many coves to hide in, LOTS n LOTS of bars or restuarants to eat at, not to mention the golf courses and shopping areas along with hundreds of motels, hotels and resorts on the water, then its has to be
LOTO
Hundred more things to do, more places to get lost and a much nicer background to see.
