Cig parties are at higher-end locations......you just can't wear shorts everywhere! It was difficult to get in, but that's the way all Cig parties are! Mango's is a guarenteed party.

Hi kitten. It's Crazyhorse on Dan's computer. I'm still in Florida, soaking up the sun, not really wanting to go back to Michigan. Did you make it to Monty's Friday night?

You guys just have to learn to plan ahead!! I made resegot rvations in October and an "Executive Suite" (large room, two king beds, ocean/beach/pool view) for $109.00 a day. Not to mention, it was less than a 5 minute walk to the boat show entrance. We all found the cab fares very reasonable, especially in light of the daily parking fees for your car/truck ($20.00 day).....
So let's see now...
room 4 days- $436.00 + tax (of course!!)
car rental & insurance - $200.00
car parking... 2 days 40.00
Dinner one night-
Restaurant Doorman 40.00 (Just to get seated at Joes' Stone Crab)
Dinner ....... $132.00-
Dinner waiter tip..... $ 20.00
Bell boys, cabs, tips, tips, tips !!! I think the tips were more than the room & car when all was done!! Everyone seemed to have there hand out there..... Mont'ys was good, but Mango's was GREAT!! A wild shown & good food also. There drinks (Banana Monbo's) were outstanding!..... I will do it again next year, just plan to do it a little differently.

I think my wife bought out the Cig trailer. I should have just towed the whole damned trailer home with me.

By the time she went back to the trailer for the 3rd time they were giving her 25% off and talking like they were old friends

Default I started off pretty good:

(2) First-class tickets - Free (airline miles)
(4) Nights at the Sheraton - Free (hotel points)
Thursday dinner - free (Volvo Penta)
Friday dinner - OSO

Then it started going bad:

Saturday dinner - Shula's (But WAY less than BajaBob38)
(3) additional nights due to storm - $700
Additional meals - $500

At the Show?
New NiCd battery for handheld VHF - $30
Various goodies at the stainless tools booth - $40
Looking at the boats and seeing the gang again - priceless.

Overall, not too bad, but - Oh, that Formula 400SS (or the MTI 44 cat).......
