I have to agree my father owns a 22 high standard and I would love to get my hands on it. I used to shoot it with him when we would go to the local pistol club here in syracuse and that gun was great. I was able to shoot and compair it to alot of other .22's and it out performed them by far

Best .45 in the world......Sig P220.
Won many a bullseye trophy....never had to touch it...great straight out of the box.
Probably have run 10,000 rounds through it since '84 and it's NEVER JAMED, and still shots like an ace....

Get a 9mm Glock or Sig and get the 22 conversion kit. Then you have the best of both worlds. The conversion kits I've seen even come with threaded barrels for "accessories"
