Thumbs up Al Qaeda gets whacked!

Maybe it's just me, but I think that we've all missed some MAJOR news in the last couple of days. Specifically: These three cats that were arrested in Pakistan over the weekend (or maybe even before?) seem to be major weight in the organization, particularly when it came to the September 11 attacks.

This is GREAT news! Reading between the lines, this seems equivalent to arresting the Chief Operations Officer and Chief Financial Officer of a big corporation. While they don't generate as much attention as Bin Laden ("Chairman of the Board"), their arrests are actually more likely to weaken Al Qaeda's ability to operate effectively. These guys may not be the people that dream up the operations, but they are they guys who actually make things happen, and that's what really counts.

Thank you, Pakistan, the CIA, the computer geeks who intercepted the emails and cellphone calls, the informants, and anybody else who contributed to these arrests - great job.

Actually, I just came across the "Photo of the day" post - The guy should be a real inspiration to his "loyal followers" now. Even though everything he represents is indescribably evil, part of me is laughing my ass of at him...

It a shame that we have "lost our focus" on al Queda due to the Iraq situation, huh..... .

In spite of the the Dems say, it looks like be CAN walk and chew gum at the same time........
