JS we are off today here. I went to St-Paul-de l'ile aux Noix yesterday to see Paul who has the Scarab 38. He lives right on the corner of the Canal where Marina Gagnon is, 90 Miles trip on GPS. Just buzzed up and back no hassle crossing the border even. That Richelieu river is like a slalom course at 50MPH I felt like James Bond in "Live and let die"!!!

Going to wax now and will go out on the lake later for a shakedown.

C981, I stay at Campbells Bay Camps in Swanton VT. Sue and Alec Campbell own the place, and they have 10 or so cottages.
1-802-868-7258 If you go to a few previous post where I was showing JS where I am, theres a satellite picture of it. There 2 bedroom cottages with kitchen and bath, your on the water with your own dock. You can't tie up next to the docks because it's pretty shallow, but I put out a stern anchor and can tie off the nose of the sunsation and get on and off that way. They get $400.00 a week, it's tough to get in but once you get one, you can keep it forever It's about a 15 Mile run by boat to Burton Island. and 7 miles to Maquam shallows. I don't know if that week is available, but I think they have 2 cottages available for 8/2-8 which starts the first day of our August run 8/2.
