Default Digital cam question?

Ok, quick easy question...I hope

Got some suprize $ this week in the form of a bonus , sooooooooooooo ,I'm finally going to get off some of it and spring for a digital camera. I've already decided 2.5 or 3.0 pixels is good enough for my use since I'm have no intentions of blowing things up to poster size.
But , should I get one with a floppy disc or the type you plug into your computer with a cable? Any +'s or -'s to either? Watchya think

Get one with the media card. I have a 128mb card in my Sony DSC_75. I can get a ton of pictures on it. Floppy's are just too bulky, and they won't hold more than a few pictures.
BTW I was on Dells' website the other day, and the floppy drive was now optional on them.

See===>http://www.olympusamerica.com/cpg_se...pg_digital.asp

I have an Olympus 2100 and it is great. If you take sports shots get the Olympus new models with the 10x OPTICAL zoom. There is a new line of Olympus cameras coming in April (if you can wait).
They have high resolution-movie mode-fast rame modes and more.
I suggest you do not get the ones that you insert a CD into.

I have a Canon PowerShot S30.It takes short movies,great pictures.You can plug it in on the T.V. and see the picture.Its very easy to use and you can do alot with it.It comes with a 32 mg card,I bought a 64mg card and extra battery.Best Buy had a good price and the 64mg card was free.

actually the Sony Mavicas (floppy disk) cameras can hold in the mid twenty pictures if you set the size of the image accordingly. It depends on how you intend to use the camera as far as what type to look for. We use the Mavicas on jobsites because it is handy for the superintendants to email pictures with their laptops and maintaining a hard copy for physical files.

We also use HP600 series for everyday use which seems to work well.

Default Digital Camera

Personally I like the Sony floppy disk camera. I have 4 different digiatal cameras and this one is my favorite one. I have a case that will hold 10 disk and each disk can hold about 32 pictures. I can copy the disk and give them away or store them in my 60 disk files on my counter. I have very good luck with the floppy even though they are bigger.

Almost a split decision so far...I'll have to talk to the sales people. At least I've learned enough as not to sound like a complete idiot
Thanks
