I also had a 70 SS with the 402 cubic inch red with black stripes and white interior bought in Texas from original owner. One solid ass car and fun to drive with the factory air. Sold it 10 years ago for $6000 because everyone told me to grow up. Boy were they wrong now there worth some good money in that condition.

two months ago buddy sold a 1970 numbers matching LS6 4-speed cowl induction white with black interior. Had been painted once, but was completely intact and completely clean and ready to show. Went for $43,000.
The 1967 L89 Vette will be going on the block in a few months. Truly expecting around 300k for it (was expecting 200k, but a recent sale of a blue/white L89 coupe at 300k has raised the bar). It's one of 16 L89's with eleven remaining. It's the ONLY red/black convertible L89 ever known to have been produced.
They were dead fourn years ago, but the rage is back in full force again.
