I have run the Paul kermis showers for three years and have installed several more. None have had a problem with bending or clogging. As far as looking good, thats not what counts. I believe the cooling factor is what needs to looked at. Besides, I like the added polished stainless hanging there.
Still a good deal at the list price. Talk nice to Paul and he may run another discount deal. He has done that a couple of times$.02

Paul, You wouldn't need a salesman, would you?

I have had good results with the Teague shower, simple, has the 90 degree tip, has stainless braid flex hose, works well

Gizmo,
I disagree with your statement that looks aren't what matters!! I would probably go out on a limb and say that innovative's showers are actually more efficient but that's not official scientific information. And you are right in that the cooling factor needs to be looked at.....doesn't really matter which one you use as long as you have one that works!!! Some may be better than others as is usually the case in everything!! Have heard nothing but positive things about Paul Kermis that's for sure!!!!!

Been racing with a Simrek drive shower since 1998. Have yet to bend any part of the drive shower, have yet to have a drive failure, never had it get "clogged" and no white chalky stuff on the upper drive.
Race proven, quality built, does what it should.
I'll buy another Simrek shower if I get another boat.

On my boat function out weighs looks but looks definetly equate. If the Innovation Marine cooler works it will be my choice over the Simerik.
What do I have to do to mount the IM. Im sure Ill have to drill the cav plate for the pickup but what about the top plate. Do I have to tap the top of the drive or does it use existing bolt holes?

Just because the buttaface is good in bed it doesnt get her a free ride on the boat ;-)

If you don't think it works and its not damaged, I'll refund your money. It works. You drill two holes in the cavitation plate for the pickup and mounting screw and the upper portion has longer screws and SS spacers to replace the stock screws. Its that simple. 15 Min install beginning to end.
